Building B

One of three low-rise buildings designed by Koichi Takada for this project, Building B comprises 54 luxury apartments and was conceived as a response to Kengo Kuma’s vision.

Connection to nature is a central pillar of respectful Japanese design—accordingly, nature plays a significant role in the architecture of Building B.

The tiered façade is designed to house an abundance of plant life and greenery—a design conceived to cultivate connections between architecture, nature and people. The result is a building striking in its simplicity and restraint.

“I have always been fascinated with nature. It is a central pillar of respectful Japanese design—I use it to find my own balance and balance in my designs.”
